Pakistan’s Ambassador to Indonesia HE Muhammad Hassan Inaugurates New Facilities at UAI
Pakistan Ambassador for Indonesia, HE Muhammad Hassan has just inaugurated a new facility Pakistan Corner and Sir Allama Muhammad Iqbal Room. This event was held in the Lobby of the UAI extension building, which was attended by both parties on Saturday (18/9). The implementation of the event is certainly in line with the government’s health protocol, namely 5M, using masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, reducing mobility and staying away from crowds.
From the UAI, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Asep Saefuddin, M. Sc., along with the leadership, the Board of Islamic Pesantren Al Azhar Foundation represented by the Chairman of Dikti, Diklat & R&D, Dr. Ir. Ahmad Husin Lubis, M.Sc., the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and also attended the ranks of the International Relations Study Program of Al-Azhar University Indonesia.
“Cooperation between Indonesia and Pakistan will continue to be built based on existing commitments, this is evident from the form of educational collaboration channeled by the Embassy of Pakistan to UAI.” Said Prof. Asep.
Meanwhile, from the Pakistani side, there was the Chief Justice of Pakistan, The Honorable Gulzar Ahmed, The Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Mr. Hakim Ijaz ul Ahsan, Secretary of the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Masood ul Ahsan, Ambassador of the Pakistani Embassy to Indonesia, HE Muhammad Hassan, Deputy Chief Of Mission of the Pakistani Embassy to Indonesia, Muhammad Faisal Fayyaz, First Secretary of the Pakistani Embassy to Indonesia, Jamal Nasir, and the Second Secretary of the Pakistani Embassy to Indonesia, Masooma Bushra Ali.
The inauguration of Pakistan Corner and Sir Iqbal Room was held symbolically, with ribbon cutting by UAI Rector and Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed, as well as visits by Pakistan Corner and Sir Iqbal Room. Pakistan Corner and Sir Allama Muhammad Iqbal Room is a concrete form of cooperation between UAI and the Embassy of Pakistan and the Government of Pakistan in support of the tridharma of universities at UAI. Pakistan Corner is located within the UAI Library, while The Sir Allama Muhammad Iqbal Room is located on the 4th floor of the main building.
Hopefully with the holding of this cooperation event can make the relationship between UAI and the Embassy of Pakistan, Jakarta and the Government of Pakistan more productive and beneficial for both parties and can educate the next generation of the nation in the future.
